The entire country has witnessed education policy of the century. The National Education Policy-2020 brings structural and systemic changes in higher education, calls for the quality and sustainable educational efforts, leading the country towards knowledge economy. The national efforts in actualising policy guidelines are in accelerated mode. In this background, the department would like to provide a platform for the educationists, researchers, and other stakeholders of education to discourse and deliberate on various themes of education. The intellectual discourses would provide networking, brainstorming and idea generation through various empirical experience sharing, which would add momentum in actualizing the policy goals. The major theme of the seminar is prospects for actualising sustainable educational goals (PASEG), highlighting the importance of SDG-4. NEP states, “The global education development agenda reflected in the Goal 4 (SDG4) of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, adopted by India in 2015 - seeks to “ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all” by 2030”. The seminar would open up opportunities to discuss five major sub themes, under which five minor themes also articulated. The major themes and allied minor themes would grab the attention of educationist and collective contribution would result in documenting the various efforts and prospects in actualising the sustainable educational goals and hence support the nation building.
